Regulatory Submissions Officer
About the Job:
Australian Naval Infrastructure (ANI) is the owner, developer and manager of the Osborne Naval Shipyard, supporting the Commonwealth’s Naval Shipbuilding Plan.
ANI is responsible for the design, construction and management of critical shipyard infrastructure, including the Nuclear-Powered Submarine Construction Yard as part of the AUKUS program, as well as operating and maintaining shared shipyard facilities.
ANI has an opportunity for a Regulatory Submissions Officer to join our Nuclear Stewardship team in Adelaide.
In this role, you will support the coordination, development and delivery of regulatory submissions and licensing documentation, ensuring all materials are accurate, complete and aligned with ANI’s nuclear licensing strategy and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation of regulatory submissions by drafting, organising and formatting documentation that meets regulatory expectations, ensuring clarity, accuracy and consistency
- Track Information inputs from internal and external stakeholders, ensuring timely collection, verification and consolidation of technical and organisational information
- Develop and maintain procedures, templates, tools and guidance materials that support consistent, high-quality preparation of licence applications
- Assist in developing submission plans, schedules and documentation structures
- Maintain document control and version management for all submission-related materials
- Monitor changes in regulatory frameworks by tracking updates to relevant guidance and standards and escalate significant changes or risks

You are highly organised with strong written communication skills and a keen eye for detail. You take pride in producing accurate, well-structured documentation and are comfortable working with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced, regulated environment.
You’ll be part of a team delivering critical infrastructure that supports Australia’s future defence capability. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex, meaningful projects while developing expertise in a highly specialised and evolving regulatory environment.
You will also have:
- Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role
- Competency in supporting regulatory correspondence, including preparing clarification materials and maintaining accurate records
Eligibility:
