ANI is committed to maximising Australian content in the delivery of its projects. Local contractors and suppliers are sourced and used where possible, and ANI and its contractor partners advertise work package opportunities through the Industry Capability Network (ICN).
ANI’s Osborne South Development Project (OSDP) achieved more than 97% engagement of local contractors, and steel supply achieved 89% Australian content, with the balance comprising steel grades, shear studs and high tensile bolts not manufactured in Australia.
ANI and its contractor partners are committed to supporting the engagement of First Nations businesses and individuals. Contracts worth more than $14m were awarded to First Nations-owned businesses on the OSDP. Supply Nation certified business, Ochre Dawn has and continues to provide project management services for the implementation of First Nations artwork created specifically for the shipyard throughout the ONS and is currently assisting ANI in the development of a Reconciliation Action Plan.
