About the Role:

Australian Naval Infrastructure Pty Ltd (ANI) is the owner, developer and manager of the Osborne Naval Shipyards, supporting the Commonwealth’s Naval Shipbuilding Plan. ANI is responsible designing, constructing and managing the shipyard infrastructure, including the new Nuclear-Powered Submarine Construction Yard to support the AUKUS program, and operating and maintaining common use facilities.

ANI plays a pivotal role in delivering Australia’s naval shipbuilding capability, contributing to one of the nation’s most significant and complex infrastructure programs. Based in Adelaide, our work underpins the future of naval shipbuilding through world-class infrastructure at Osborne.

ANI has an opportunity for a Commercial Governance Coordinator to join its Commercial team in Adelaide. In this role, you will support governance forums, reporting processes, procurement and contract management activities, while maintaining key records, coordinating compliance activities and assisting with the preparation and quality assurance of commercial documentation across the NPSCY Program. Working within a complex project environment, you’ll gain broad commercial experience and exposure to a diverse range of activities that support successful program delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate governance forums, meeting schedules, agendas, papers, minutes and action registers.
  • Support procurement and contract management governance processes, approvals and compliance activities.
  • Prepare commercial reports, dashboards, status updates and governance reporting.
  • Assist with the preparation, review and quality assurance of commercial documentation.
  • Support the planning and coordination of procurement, contract management and reporting activities.
  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of governance frameworks, procedures and tools.
  • Liaise with stakeholders, advisers and project team members to coordinate inputs and actions.
  • Support commercial systems, workflow tools and records management practices.
  • Handle sensitive and commercial-in-confidence information in accordance with project requirements.

About You:

You are highly organised, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple priorities in a complex environment. You have strong written communication and stakeholder engagement skills, take a proactive approach to coordinating activities and maintaining accurate records, and exercise professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive information.

You will also have:

  • Australian citizenship and otherwise eligible to obtain any required security clearances required for a Defence related facility.
  • Relevant qualification or equivalent experience in governance, business, commerce, law, project coordination, compliance, procurement, document control or a related discipline.
  • Experience supporting governance, compliance, procurement, contract management or project delivery functions.
  • Experience preparing and maintaining governance documentation, reports, registers and meeting records.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Well-developed written communication, stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams and SharePoint; experience maintaining registers, trackers and document repositories is desirable.
  • Sound judgement and discretion when handling confidential or sensitive information.
  • A collaborative and proactive approach to working with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Represents the organisation in an honest, ethical and professional manner.

Eligibility:
