Tom McAvaney
Biography
Tom joined ANI as EGM Commercial in December 2025.
Tom is an infrastructure project professional with 25 years experience working across private and public sector organisations in the delivery of mega projects. Before joining ANI, Tom led the Commercial and Legal function for Rail Projects Victoria and the Melbourne Metro Tunnel Project, which was successfully completed in November 2025. Tom has particular expertise in the implementation of integrated and collaborative contracting and delivery models across complex multi-package and multi-year programs.
Tom holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) and a Bachelor of Laws from Monash University and is a graduate of the AICD.
